Geek Support
We are located in the Crabbe Library in our Innovation Center in room 103A. We can help you with your technology questions and concerns during your time at EKU.
We provide computer setup and support for EKU student-owned devices including:
- Laptop and other electronics checkouts [1-2 week time period] (e.g., laptops, cameras, iPads, projectors, etc.)
- Internet connections (computers, game consoles, media devices, etc.)
- Virus/malware cleanup
- EKU software installation (e.g., Office 365) and cloud printing
- Mobile device network and email setup
- In-lab only checkouts [time period depends on demand] (e.g., game consoles, games, headphones, etc.)
- Electronics recycling & Upcycling

-Lamination Station - Makerspace (Robotics & electronics, 3D scanning, modeling and printing, cutting and milling, textiles\eTextiles, crafts, and jewelry making)
- Media Spaces (Video production, audio production, music production, photography, podcasting, claymation, storytelling, digital drawing, and Adobe CC on iMacs with a cloud printer)
- Gaming Space (PC gaming, console gaming, VR gaming, board games, D&D)
- Immersive Space (VR/AR/MR/XR)
- Colonel Oasis (A wellness space where students can take a break from studying or just life in general!)
We also offer mobile device charging stations, host "geeky" events such as LAN parties and conduct student training covering software and hardware (one-on-one and in small- and large-group settings).
